Dom, your clever humour in making your point having been noted, plagiarism is
taken too lightly.

I was pleasantly surprised to find my quote headlining a website page without
listing my name and worse, the last sentence has been omitted. The entire page
is lifted from the BBC. See http://adishakti.org/drumbeat_of_death.htm. “We end
this century, as we began, not any closer to a consensus for human
existence....."

My original submission was to BBC and is at this page
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/talking_point/580121.stm. For whatever reason BBC
decide to flatter me with two quotes, the one I am referring to is the second
one at the BBC link. In its entirety it reads:
"We end this century, as we began, not any closer to a consensus for human
existence. No political ideology, no religion, no technology, no science, no
economic theory, no media, no sport, no guru has convinced us of our purpose.
As we drift into the next century one hopes we won't kill as many, destroy the
environment and ignore the poor, as we try to make sense of it all. The good in
us should not permanently die.
