I am thrilled to know that many Gram Sabha's across Goa are now demanding(not requesting) for Special Status to preserve our prized identity. With real estate and land grabbed by the rest of India mainly via black money, the locals Goans are on the way to becoming irrelevant. Add to this the huge un-controlled migrant influx which could be reduced/controlled in many ways. Even un-democratic China had better ways to safeguard the identity of Hong Kong and Macao. The Government of Goa must go full throttle on this issue and genuine Goans will back it!!
