Are we secured in our own land? It took four years for the concerned authorities to hang the Pakistani terrorist,Kasab who opened fire at the CST, Mumbai and killed number of innocents for no fault of their in spite of the case being an open and clear one. Recently a girl tortured and raped in Delhi, the capital city of country and still the investigations are on. Almost the whole nation agitated against the Delhi gang rape but as per our law, a long way to go for results. Also there are great chances of the case dying a slow death which normally happens in our Country. Now again, our one time peaceful Goa is in the news, this time for the rape of a minor girl inside a school premises. Soon after the incident our so called people in power started to speak about installing CCTV’s and all sort of security measures to be in place in our schools. There was a time when minor girls use to walk by their self to the school and nobody dared to touch them and now they are not safe within the school premises. Why such ugly incidents are on a rise in this one time peaceful state of Goa? The headmistress is been arrested for negligence but who is responsible for the existence of such culprits in Goa and if they are from the migrant family who is responsible for their entry in Goa? When criminals are not afraid of our country’s law then such ugly incidents are bound to happen. There is something severely wrong with our system.
