NT:" HOUSE PASSES LOKAYUKTA BILL WITH HEAVY FINE AS DETERRENCE FOR FRIOLOUS COMPLAINTS " [Pg1 (double)

COMMENTS:
GOANS ARE NO COWARDS. They will doubly make sure that the material they got on Public Servants including the CMs, Ministers & MLAs is fool-proof. The cat is already out of the bag that Justice B S Reddy, the cleared GOA Lokayukt, is already in Manohar Parrikar's pockets. Well done Justice Hegde.

TOI:"NO HURRY TO PASS KHAZAN BILL, SAYS PARRIKAR" [Pg6]
H:"THOSE OPPOSING KHAZAN LAND BILL HAVE VESTED INTEREST: PARRIKAR [pg2]
COMMENTS:
Dear CM Manohar Parrikar, you are wise. Keep the Khazan Bill under wraps till you demit office. This is for your own good. What Vijay-bab says that you are in a hurry is right. Don't push things over too much for your own good. They might roll-back on you and that will be unfortunate. Just an advice from a friend, though. And, you said it right..... The vested interests of Khazan Lands of Goa are with the 236 COMUNIDADES aka GAOKARIS of GOA since the 11th Century AD. Capice???

NT:"STATISTICS SHOW CRIME RATE NOT AS HIGH AS PROJECTED: PARRIKAR" [Pg2]

COMMENTS:
Dear CM, sad to say that your IIT'an background has always put enphasis on 'theory' more than 'practicals'. This shows with your graduation subject itself ... Metallurgy ! the practicals of which you have long since forgotten. Let us have 'theory' and 'practical' walking side by side, please.

NT:"LEGAL MINING WILL RESUME WITHIN 6-8 WEEKS AFTER SC VACATES BAN ORDER: CM"
"ECO SENSITIVE AREAS WILL BE FREE FROM SAND EXTRACTION' [Pg2]

COMMENTS:
About mining re-starting in Goa within 6-8 weeks is pure CONFIDENCE on your part, dear CM. Don't tell us that, just like you have pocketed your new Lokayukt, you have pocketed a Supreme Court Judge. Re: Sand extraction: Any sand extraction is eco-sensitive and must stop. It is high time that GOA finds alternative to sand in the building industry. Your IIT qualifications can help here, you know??
