Irresponsible government employee Why most of the government employees are ‘Kam-chors’?On the 4th of February at 1030 hrs,I visited the Registrar of Births and Deaths Office,Margao to submit my newly born daughter’s name. The catholic lady who attended me, checked on the computer and advised that same has not yet been entered and when I questioned her about the next procedure to be followed, she in a rude manner replied to have a look in a file on the unattended table next to her which also contained very important documents related to Birth Report legal information. At this point, I pointed out to her that it’s not my job to look into the file and how irresponsible she could be to allow me the access to such an important file? I was forced to raise my tone to explain about her sincerity at work by this irresponsible government employee as a result a kind gentleman from a different location in the same office attended me and the matter was sorted out. I have come across a number of such employees who never understand a decent language. Hope the concerned authorities will try to bring some discipline in such rude employees.
