Re: AAM AADMI PARTY'S PRASHANT BUSHAN TALKING AT MENEZES BRAGANZA HALL, PANJIM-GOA

Attended Prashant Bushan\'s talk against CORRUPTION and Goa Lokayukta Amendments at Panjim, today at Menezes Braganza newly renovated hall. [But the organizing of the meet was, if I can say, a bit half-hazard and wanting]

His talk over corruption in general was in deed good. He tool the audience around a well detailed tour over the centralized corruption where big businesses are owning India\'s lawmakers. Riliance, Radia Tapes, Posco, Sesa-Vedanta etc. He said he has met with Goa CEO Manohar Parrikar. Says that MP has agreed to iron-out the aggrieved clauses in the Amendment and also look at the Uttarakand Draft to incorporate to whatever extent. When asked by reporters if he was optimistic about the meet with Goa CEO, he was non-committal.

During the public questioning session, yours faithfully asked him 2 questions

1. What is the stage of preparedness of your AAP for 2014 Elections?
2. Is AAP aware of the the \'DNA\', a get together of large number of India\'s regional parties to set up a FEDERAL STRUCTURE to oppose NDA,UPA in the 2014 elections, a meeting of which is due to take place in the beggining of March, 2013 at New Delhi?

He answered the 2nd question first.
"If such a talk is to take place, I am not aware of it yet. But we shall certainly want to join in if the aims and objectives are similar to AAP\'s.

On the first question:
We are trying our hand at the Delhi State Elections first. Let us see what happens.

Goa Su-Raj Party strongly believes that Parliamentary Elections must be contested by National Parties only AND/OR by a Federation of State Regional Parties. with a reciprocating understanding by the National Parties that the 'State Elections' shall be the prerogative of State Registered Political Parties only. Even then, and in the absence of such a ruling by the Election Commission of India, GSRP would want GOANS who are ERUDITE, knowledgeable about India and its problems, as well as World affairs, 'STATESMEN/WOMEN' , to contest on it's 'TICKET' in the coming 2014 Parliamentary Elections. Let GOA endeavour to send two real Parliamentarians to the House of the People in New Delhi for once.
