In 1961 lead by tyrant Can Death the nemisis of Ghenghis, many Goans faced atrocities which were rightly recorded by Leo Lawerence in his book called Nehru Seizes Goa. Unfortunately the writer failed to garner many other incidents of rape and crimes commited by the illegal invaders, which have gone unrecorded in this courageous and well documented version which every Goan should read. To cite an example there is some research chap in the United States who looks after birds, this guy after reading excerpts of this book and other documents has now accepted the illegal occupation of Goa. Therefore people who make weak statements should take a look at this publication before venturing into illusions. Going back to this tyrant Can Death, it is believed that after invading and occupying Goa had his hands placed in his pockets because he was unable to rule Goa. This was because of the Portuguese spoken in government circles. To overcome this, the trickster force introduced English, there were traitors like that of a famous mine owner who started the newspaper called Nav Hind.
