Amaresh Deshpande will hold an intensive bridge workshop over 5 days (2 hour
sessions each) at Literati from 25th Feb to 1st March from 5 pm to 7 pm. The
fee for the course is Rs. 1500/-. Those of you who did the introductory
sessions which were held recently, know how good Amaresh is as a teacher and
how much fun the game of Bridge is in reality. I would also recommend this game
to children as it really helps improve concentration and math and analytical

Re the Book Club, we will be reading Curfewed Nights by Basharat Peer, which is
not only a good book but is very topical and will help in our understanding of
Kashmir. This will be on 12th March at 8.15 p.m. The book is available at
