SUB: PRESS STATEMENT FOR KIND FAVOUR OF PUBLICATION - RE: ATTACK ON GOA'S
CIVIL SOCIETY BY SO CALLED MINING AFFECTED PEOPLE.
GOA SU-RAJ PARTY - GSRP most strongly CONDEMNS the unsolicited attack on
Goa's Civil Society by the so called mining affected people at Margao on
2nd. March, 2013. This Party wants to go on record to say that the real
mining affected people which are tens of thousands in numbers, are
overjoyed and happy that the curse of rampant and un-abated mining in GOA
has stopped, at last. These people are the farmers whose fields have been
inundated by the mining silt. These are the residents in the mining belts of
Goa who had no respite from the acute dust and noise pollution created by
the endless chains of mining truck plying on the City/Village roads,
literally making their commuting and generally their lives miserable as
hell. These are the people of the mining areas whose beloved family members
have been mauled and trampled under the relentlessly grinding 'wheels' of
the mining trucks. These are the people whose wells have been sucked dry and
had to literally beg for tanker water with the mining barons who supplied
them with unfiltered water directly from the mining pits, water which was
destined to be pumped out into the Arabian Sea, claiming to be GODs from
Heaven coming to the rescue of these parched people. These are the residents
who have been attacked by wild animals of the forests whose habitats have
been destroyed by the so called mining dependent GOONS forcing them to
invade villages and threaten their very lives.
This Party holds the Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Manohar Parrikar solely
responsible for this particular 'attack' on Goa's Civil Society, who is
known by his words and actions for supporting and encouraging these GOONS
who call themselves mining dependent people, in his frustration over the
clamp-down on the mining in Goa by the Supreme Court of India, thus
strangulating his free flow of money supply from these so called mining
dependent people who reigned supreme CANNIBALIZING MOTHER GOA without a
care in the world as if GOA belonged to them to do with it what they wanted.
If at all, these so called mining dependent GOONS need to blame anyone, they
have to blame themselves or their GODFATHERS, who in fact are the promoters
of rampant illegal mining in Goa, the glib talking POLITICIANS and
FRUSTRATED mining Barons whose kingly lifestyles have been cramped to no
end.
This Party appeals to all REAL MINING DEPENDENT PEOPLE of GOA to come out in
massive numbers, if necessary, to stone to death these mining dependent
goons masquerading as mining dependent people so that Goa is rid of this
breed once and for all.
As told by this Party to Justice M B Shah at the hearing held at the
conference hall of the Secretariat Complex, Porvorim:

UNDER THE MERCILESSLY GRINDING WHEELS OF THE MINING TRUCKS......., THEN LET
THESE MINERAL RESOURCES LIE BURIED, UNTOUCHED AND UNDISTURBED WHERE THEY
ARE, WHETHER THE GOA GOVERNMENT OR THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT LIKES IT OR NOT.

This Party sympathizes with the RTI/Civil Activists who have been at the
receiving end of this politically motivated goon-mob calling themselves
mining affected people.
It is to be seen if the Goa Police will proceed against the leaders of this
Goon-mob. If not, GOANs will know that the GOA POLICE obeys it's MINING
DEPENDENT GOONS SUPPORTING POLITICAL MASTERS. This Party rubbishes the
statement made by the Police blaming the Civil Society for not taking
appropriate permission from the Police to conduct the meet. There is no
precedent set on this and Goa is not going to set such precedents in the
future. The Police has been given ears, eyes and infrastructure by the
tax-payers of this state to do their duties to safe-guard the well being of
the citizenry.
