The Press Statement issued by GSRP on 3-Mar-13 clearly says:

This Party praises the above Edit captioned "Zero Tolerance for
Intimidation". It is very much acceptable to this Party if the Editor of
esteemed 'Herald' does not publish GSRP's Official Press Statements sent to
it, but on the contrary uses the same sentiments expressed therein to keep
the world of Goans informed thro' the EDIT, because, if not this Party,
someone has to do it so that the people of Goa know what the world thinks of
incidents like what happened in Margao vis a vis RTI Activist/Civil Society
and the Goons sponsored by the Govt and the Mining Barons. Likewise, most
of the 'ideas' on the ROAD MAP FOR GOA of the GSRP are being incorporated by
the powers that be, slow and steady. This Party does not claim propriety
over those 'ideas' as these are for GOA and it's efficient governance. This
Party is happy, nay, very very happy, if these 'ideas' are implemented and
shall not bother as to who takes the credit for those 'ideas' as long as
these are implemented to make Goa's governance an effective good governance.

COMMENTS:
No, it is not Yours Faithfully but the SAFFRON LOBO of Calangute. Talking of
garbage, YF has started, as part of GSRP's campaign against widespread
dumping of garbage across roadsides in entire Goa [the 'INDIAN CULTURE'
that is overpowering GOA's meticulously cultivated sanitized culture over
450 years in just 51 years of Goa's annexation by force], to showcase how,
at 'ward level', every Village can have a sustained collection and treatment
facility for this malaise and also have 'black gold' in hand for the
trouble. This campaign has been initiated on just one road prominently
leading to the St. Xavier's High School in the village of MOIRA, the
HEADQUARTERS OF GSRP, where an animal proof -see through- wire mesh 'BIN'
has been provided at a locality that was hosting over one year's collection
of the surrounding garbage making it literally a pig-sty just in front of
the esteemed alma mater of YF, with systematic picking up of not only the
dumpings and clearing them away but also picking up of every kind of plastic
wraps strewn all over the place. GSRP is happy to see that those who were
dumping their garbage are still doing so, but with a difference. The plastic
bags loaded with house-hold garbage are meticulously placed in the 'bin'.
Encouraged that people are willing to be disciplined if given the facility,
and in order to showcase this mini-garbage collection and treatment facility
at almost negligible cost, YF invited the local HCN operative/reporter and
had this facility recorded so that this could be shown to the people of GOA
to gauge it's effectiveness. [see pictures]. However, sad to say, this clip
is yet to appear on the TV Channel. Not being a TV buff, YF relies on
reports from people watching TV. So far no report has come through. YF
regrets this statement if this clip has in deed been shown on HCN. BTW:
This clip was not intended to promote the GSRP. GSRP has long since stopped
relying on such shallow promotions. The main sentiment behind the recording
was to make GOA aware that it must not rely of SONSODO'S AND CURTI'S for
Garbage Clearance and Treatment involving crores that fly into the pockets
of agencies supported by shallow governments and the politricians, but can
do it on a sustained level comp cheaper if replicated into thousands of
mini-clearing and treatment facilities throughout GOLDEN GOA.
