The push to have two airports in Goa has nothing to do with feasability, tourism ets. It has all to do with the pockets of those who in the know, who invested in property around the proposed new airport at Mopa. If the airport is not built, their investments will be worth very little as agricultural land. If the airport is built those investors will become multi-crorepati. Simple economics. Money speaks and money buys politicians.
