Activist, Fr Rebello, addressing the 300-odd people at Dando ground in Benaulim, stated that the government is keen on seeking Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Request for Proposals (RFP) for the proposed airport claiming that the land acquisition is done, “but it has failed to have environmental impact assessment (EIA), which is equally important.’’ “We are here to draw the attention of the people at the village level and make them aware that the government is trying to fool them with the two airport theory,’’ he said.
