The garbage issue in Goa has reached a point of grave crisis. All our cities and even villages are infested with garbage strewn all over. It is one of the main reason the quality high end tourists are straying away from Goa, once known as the Paradise of the East.
Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has assured that an ultra modern mixed waste treatment plant will soon be set up at Bainguinim. It needs to be expedited on a top priority and we need to support the Chief Minister in achieving this end fast track. Let us hope that the Chief Minister does not make a U turn on Bainguinim by succumbing to the pulls and pressures of vested interests. If we do not resolve the on going garbage menace we may reach a point of no return. Aires Rodrigues T1 - B30, Ribandar Retreat Ribandar - Goa - 403006 Mobile: 9822684372
