Star of Curtorim (Xeza Pai) was really a gentleman, thats what I have gathered from many fellow tiatrists and some neighbours. After long time I saw a funeral procession (from home to the Church). I took part in it too including carrying the coffin (over my shoulder). There was a time, we did that for journeys upto 5 kms (sharing in-between)
At the end of the Church services, a member of the family (son-in-law) gave an unusual speech, rather a tiatrical one, in which he gave the reasons behind the 'suicide'. Some sort of family problem pointer pointing more towards the elder son. I have this entire 7 min speech recorded, last minute I took it off to keep Video short. Parents, all they need is love and not necessarily the money, he said and wished this never to happen to anyone. Last 22 minutes the deceased was talking to him over the phone explaining as to why he is doing it 'I am keeping behind all good things and taking with me all bad ones' (he also heard the splashing /jumping sound)*. During the last conversation, he also conveyed to him that he has forgiven his sons and daughter-in-laws.
