As for the other part, I have taken Prof. Boxer's assertion and applied to the case of Goa as one colony that the Portuguese didn't want to leave. Those in Goa must have read the piece by by Teotonio and I wish they could send letters to the editor of Herald instead of making useless noise on the other list.
