-- Samir Umarye BICHOLIM: Bicholim police today arrested a 37-year-old person from Valpoi Sattari in connection with molestation of a women from Walshi Bicholim.
According to the information provided by the Bicholim police a woman complained of molestation on 10th when she was returning home from work. As per the reports the incident occurred at about 9.30 pm at Walshi Bicholim. The woman was returning from Panjim where she used to work. When she got down from the bus a person suddenly pounced upon her and molested her. When the woman raised an alarm the person ran from the scene on his Duo bike. The woman noted down the number of the scooter and registered a complaint with the Bicholim police. Bicholim police team including PSI, Gaurish Parab, constable, Nilesh Fogeri and Kalidas Paste investigated the incident and nabbed one Tukaram B Haldankar (37) from Valpoi Sattari. Tukaram has been sent to 14 days judicial custody. PI, Neenad Devulkar is further investigating the case.
