Why is the Goa AG paid such an exorbitant salary and such lavish perks? Isn't
there any recourse to letting him off his post and appointing someone cheaper
who will not demand such exorbitant and unjustifiable remuneration. What is the
Auditor General of India doing about this official and why isn`t any action
being taken against Mr. Parrikar and Mr.`Atmaram` Nadkarni`whose very name
sounds fishy `Ath Maro`? Surely the intricacies of office of the smallest state
in the Indian Union must have a justification for paying its AG the highest
salary of all AG's in the Country, unless, Mr. Parrikar and Mr. Nadkarni have
some dubious connections of sharing the booty or some other reason. Could it be
that Mr. Nadkarni has some dirt that he is holding as leverage against Mr.
Parrikar that prevents the latter from replacing him. After all, isn`t the AG`s
position a political appointment and surely a replacement should not be
difficult to find. After all, no one is indispensible.
