My Parish Priest handed me a magazine this morning and drew my attention to this item:
"Finally, a little story in honour of our new Pope: a Franciscan and a Dominican were debating whose Order was the greater. After much arguing,they decided to ask God for an answer. God seemed a bit puzzled about the question and told them he would reply in writing. Eventually,they received the following letter: "My sons, Please stop bickering about such trivial matters. Both Orders are equally great and good in my eyes. Yours sincerely, GOD, S.J. " Looks as though the Jesuits have a direct line to the Pearly Gates??! Mervyn Maciel
