Jesus Christ revolted against corrupt political & religious leaders during his time………..but the Christian/Catholic Clergy neither speak out against corrupt politicians and neither are prepared to disclose on church notice boards how church funds are utilized, what money received from sale of vacant church properties is utilized for, why children of poor christians find it difficult to get admission in christian institutions including christian schools when the govt has granted minority status to christian institutions under which 50% seats has to be reserved for christians……….……………….HERE IN BOMBAY NO ARCHBISHOP NO CARDINAL NO PARISHPRIEST IS PREPARED TO SPEAKUP AGAINST THE BUILDER-POLITICIAN-BABU NEXUS IN BOMBAY………..No Christian/Catholic clergy in bombay is prepared to take part in rallies that are organized by local catholic villagers on various issues related to the discriminatory policies of the Maharashtra state & BMC against catholic villagers for example when a rally was held by catholic villagers in march-2013 in parle-juhu area on the demolition of heritage cross issues, bmc property tax issues, catholic gaothans (village) issues, job reservation issue, etc no catholic parish priest came to take part in that rally………all the openspaces mangroves forestlands agriculturallands saltpanlands creeks rivers estuaries triballands farmerlands fisherfolklands vacantlands in the 4500 sq km Bombay Metropolitan Region / North Konkan Region (bombay thane raigad districts) is under a permanent threat from the builders corporate slumlords SEZ and other lobbies but NO Christian/Catholic clergy from bombay is interested in defending the ecology environment lands etc in the north konkan region…….………….after the daily 6:30 am mass in bombay the catholic priests remove their religious dress i.e. white cassock and they transform themselves into secularism by wearing shirt trousers t-shirts etc and where they go and what they do I don’t know and again when the evening approaches they are in their religious dress to perform the 6:30 pm evening mass……….also the parish priests don’t cook their food and neither wash their clothes they have full time servants to take care of everything and full time watchmen to guard the parish buildings the catholic priests also don’t take bath in the mornings………………..during the Sunday sermons the priests do not Encourage the catholic youth to work towards becoming ias ips irs ifs officers doctors engineers etc and neither Encourage the catholic parishioners to aggressively apply for govt jobs bank jobs police jobs railway jobs etc etc etc and neither Discourage the catholic laity from eating the unhealthy & unhygienic bakery maida pavs and neither Discourage the catholic parishioners from drinking alcohol………………………..MILLIONS of Students in rural & backward districts & towns of India are getting a lot of modern education but where are the jobs in rural & backward districts & towns of India that can enable all these students to get jobs once they complete their education…………the only option left with these millions of students after education will be to migrate into crowded Indian cities for jobs or migrate to gulf & western countries for jobs……TO MIGRATE INTO INDIAN CITIES NO PASSPORT OR VISA IS REQUIRED AND BY PAYING A FEW THOUSAND RUPEES TO LOCAL SLUMLORDS in the cities ONE CAN GET A 100 to 200 sq ft SHANTY BUT TO MIGRATE TO GULF & WESTERN COUNTRIES PASSPORT & VISA WILL BE REQUIRED AND THERE IS NO CHANCE OF ENCROACHING VACANT LANDS IN GULF & WESTERN COUNTRIES because the administration in those countries will not tolerate slumlords & slumdwellers & slums.
There has been a revival of Christianity in Russia during the last one decade especially after Vladimir Putin became the President in 2000…………..but since majority of Russias nuclear armed missiles have been programmed to destroy the main rivals of Russia i.e. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries of Europe & North America (America, Canada) which are all Christian countries AND since the Russian Government & Politicians never express sadness on the religious persecution of Christians in some countries including India AND since the Russian govt also sell most of their advanced military weapons fighterjets submarines ships missiles nucleartechnology to countries where Christianity is persecuted AND since the Russian govt does not provide any moral financial political support to christian groups in countries where Christianity is persecuted……………….due to which it makes no difference whether Russia is a Christian country or a Atheist country or a Orthodox country. Almost all the people working in Government departments, local municipalities, police force, etc etc etc in India are from the Hindu community……….so I don’t understand what the BJP and some rightwinghindugroups mean by saying that the Congress has been appeasing minorities (read muslims & christians)……………except for giving minority status to institutions run by muslims & christians I don’t see any thing that the congress has done to ensure muslims & christians get adequate representations in the government depts, municipalities, police force, etc etc etc………….so where is the question of appeasement. There are no unlimited resources ( freshwater land crude-oil coal gas cng lpg diesel petrol kerosene gold diamonds silver copper aluminium steel cement sand iron foodgrains fruits vegetable poultry etc etc etc ) but the population of some communities keeps on multiplying due to which there is no chance of peace in this world..................Christians around the world are content with one or two children but what about other communities…………Unlike other communities the Christians around the world don’t indulge in female foeticide/infanticide/embyrocide due to which the population of females is more than males in christian community compared to other communities in which the population of males is more than females.………………the Christian Clergy give sermons to the lay Christians to produce more children but the same christian clergy are not prepared to utilize Church wealth – assets – resources – properties for the benefit of lay christians especially poor christians……………almost all the lay christians around the world have realized that for a better standard of living for themselves & their children the family has to be small due to which the sermons of the christian clergy to produce more children is not going to make any difference to the lay christians………………….Here in Bombay the Archbishop Oswald Gracias is concerned about some tragedy that happens in other parts of India but turns a blind eye to the tragedy of catholics in bombay……………majority of the catholics in bombay are waiting when this Oswald Gracias retires or gets transferred somewhere else. Catholic villagers of bombay have decade after decade faced threats attacks intimidations harassment from illegal-migrants landencroachers buildersmafia slumlords landmafia slumdwellers right-wing-hindu-groups………………..Catholic villagers of bombay have faced discrimination from the Maratha dominated police bmc collectorsoffice maharashtra govt…………….Catholic villagers of bombay have found it extremely difficult to get jobs here and those who got jobs were humiliated and tormented by their hindu co-workers…………due to unemployment many catholic villagers took to chronic alcoholism and died away………many catholic villagers out of poverty and desperation utilized part of their houses for giving on rent without making proper leave & licence agreements and keeping the tenant for more than 11 months due to which the tenants refused to quit and are paying the same old rent..……….and many catholic villagers who could not maintain their old & dilapidated houses gave their property to small time builders for constructing new ground plus one houses under an undertaking that the builder will be allowed to sell off the first floor of the new house to recover his cost and profit but the catholic villagers got duped because the builder used low & bad quality construction materials to construct the new house and also the outsiders who came to live on the first floor became 50% owners of the Ground plus one houses and after the construction of the new house the BMC property taxes also increased…………………after loosing agricultural lands, ponds, wells, poultry, cattles, horses, bullocks, human rights, etc now the catholic villagers of bombay are also in the process of loosing their village dwellings, heritage crosses near the villages, church land, etc etc etc……………..THE CATHOLIC VILLAGERS of BOMBAY are DOOMED Forever & ever & ever………………although lay Catholic groups like CSF AOCC BCSABHA CROSS MCYF MGP SOUL are doing a commendable job in defending the last few bits of Catholicism/Christianity in bombay without any financial moral logistical political and other support from western governments……………the governments, newsmedia, political groups, etc in western countries are controlled by militant secularists, liberalists & atheists minded people so NO chance of any help to Christian groups here from western countries………..our only hopes are Lord Jesus Christ & Blessed Mother Mary. The problems of the catholic villagers in bombay began from the early 18th century when the Protestant Britishers allowed large number of Hindus from Gujarat & Maharashtra to settle in catholic bombay……………and the problems kept on multiplying for the next generation of catholic villagers………and increased manifold after 1960 when bombay was annexed by Maharashtra due to the re-organization of states………….I don’t know what were the reasons for some 8 or 10 catholics from Bandra to send a letter to the Governor of Bombay in 1887 proclaiming that all Catholic villagers in bombay would henceforth identify with the name eastindians in honour of the east india company………..neither I know what influence these 8 or 10 catholics had over all catholic villagers in bombay………..neither I know why all Catholic villagers in bombay decided to foolishly adopt the name eastindians……………what I know is the east india company has gone forever and bombay is on the west of india and for the original sons of soil of bombay to continue identifying with the name eastindians is the most foolish thing in the entire world………except for the goan & mangalorean catholics NOBODY in the world knows who eastindians in bombay are because of the inappropriate name eastindians………the marathi migrants here who in the last 50 years have changed the history geography culture of bombay because of their brute majority think that the eastindians in bombay are migrants……………….The BEIA that was setup in 1887 by a small group of misguided catholics does not have a dedicated office even in the 21st century and the present day few office bearers of the BEIA meet on Saturday at a small corner in the bandra gymkhana for a few hours to discuss what I don’t know because so far I have not come across any news of the BEIA office bearers agitating for quota in govt jobs municipal jobs police jobs etc etc etc for Catholic villagers of bombay………….neither I have heard any news of the BEIA office bearers organizing any rally at azad maidan or shivaji park to highlight the ecomomic & other problems that catholic villagers of bombay have been facing………neither I have come across any news of the BEIA office bearers sending a dossier related to the problems Catholic Villagers of bombay have been facing to the United Nations, International Human rights groups, CNN BBC ALJAZEERA etc etc etc………but what I know is that as long as these few office bearers of BEIA do not dismantle the BEIA and set up a new association with names like Bombay Catholic Villagers Association or Bombay Christian Panchayat or any other meaningful name………...till then Catholic villagers of Bombay will be foolishly known by the name eastindians ( www.east-indians.com ) …….……………………….. there are a few catholic villagers of bombay who are sacrificing their blood sweat time to agitate for the rights of the bombay catholic villagers ( www.mobaikar.com ) …………………. there are also a few catholic villagers who have been trying to provide latest updates on issues that affect the catholics in bombay ( www.facebook.com/eastindians ) .................. as far as the Roman Catholic Church/Clergy in Bombay is concerned they are only interested in numbers & headcounts at the Sunday mass and don’t have any political will to fight for the rights of the sons of the soils of bombay ( www.Bombayland.Blogspot.com <http://www.bombayland.blogspot.com/> ) . I know there are many Catholics/Christians in other parts of India who have adopted Hindu names to conceal their catholic/christian identify………….but here in bombay inspite of all the terrorism that has been unleashed on catholics/christians almost all the catholics/christians have catholic/christian names………….The command to endure suffering is just another part of a Christian's life. Faithful Christians of all ages have suffered; we are not the only ones. We should be prepared for more sufferings to come. If the Bombay Muncipal Corporation had come up with a new rule that those who purchase flats/house above 500 sq.ft after 1st January, 2014 will have to pay double property taxes would have made sense……………but since the BMC has decided to charge double property tax to existing users who own above 500 sq. ft. needs to be opposed tooth and nail………..in March 2013 when a rally was organized by some catholic villagers from parle to juhu to oppose the new capital value tax & 500 sq. ft. rule not a single priest from the St. Josephs Church – Juhu and St. Xaviers Church – Parle took part in the rally. IT WOULD BE VERY NICE IF POPE FRANCIS ALLOWS 50 LAKH SLUMDWELLERS FROM BOMBAY TO SETTLE IN AND AROUND VATICAN CITY SO THAT THE POPE & VATICAN ADMINISTRATION CAN PRACTICALLY EXPERIENCE THE ILL-EFFECTS OF OVER-POPULATION i.e. poverty, lack of peace, lack of education, lack of jobs, lack of housing, lack of hygiene, lack of sanitation medicines health care, lack of transport, food shortage, water shortage, land shortage, growth of slums, anger, fights, beating, shouting, quarrels, crying, breaking of things, arson, rioting, communal disharmony, forced begging, forced labor, committing variety of crimes, various nefarious activities like smuggling, settling personal feuds or in creating trouble during elections, mob mentality and damage and burning of public and private property. No import-export business…….No manufacturing business……….No wholesale business………No retail business……..No poultry business……….No agricultural business…….…….the only business of MPs MLAs Corporators in Bombay is to serve the Builders lobby & Slumdwellers…………in return for funds & votes…………..and no lessons learnt from the 26/7 cloudbursts……........all the last few bits of openspaces mangroves saltpanlands etc are up for development and if there is another cloudburst expect 10 times more damage than what happened on 26/7. There is nothing wrong if Government’s are monitoring the electronic communications of terrorists to prevent a terror attack…...but if any government is monitoring the e-communications of social citizen rti civic ecological environments anti-landacquisition & other Activists then that means the Government is controlled by rogue & corrupt politicians. The Pope appoints Bishops & Cardinals and when the Pope retires the Bishops and Cardinals decide who becomes the next Pope…………..where is the involvement of the catholic parishioners in the selection & election process of the Pope, Bishops, Cardinals, Parishpriests………..other than Pay, Pray & Obey what is the role of the catholic parishioners in the functioning of the catholic church…………….here in Bombay the Archbishop Oswald Gracias expresses his sadness when some tragedy occurs in other parts of India but turns a blind eye on the sufferings of the catholics in bombay………………in my opinion a good pope bishop cardinal parishpriest archbishop is the one who apart from taking care of spiritual needs of the catholic parishioners also does his small bit in improving the health wealth housing jobs landholdings security of the catholic parishioners………at the moment there is no such good pope bishop cardinal parishpriest archbishop anywhere in the world.
