Plainly speaking ,as a citizen of a Nation named as the Republic of India that
is Bharat in its Constitution ,I find myself in agreement with the views
expressed in Parliament by the Hon'ble Minister of State for Home that the
provisions of the Constitution of India , and more specifically Article 19
Right to Freedom, relating to Protection of certain rights regarding freedom of
speech and above all the right to move freely throughout the territory of
India; to reside and settle in any part of the territory of India; to practise
any profession, or carry on any occupation, trade or business ,(all within
reasonable restrictions) would at first blush itself preclude the granting of "
SPECIAL STATUS" to the State of Goa.
The idea itself from its nativity had as much chance as an ICE CUBE IN HELL to
survive the rigourous heat of scrutiny.
Gerry.
