The TOI page 4 news item today clears out Bruno Nazareth who we thought was
the notary that was suspended when only B. Nazareth was mentioned along with
Y Zuzart in the earlier news reports. As far as I am concerned I did not
know Benedict (or Benny as he is called) was a notary at all. But today
through the TOI, Bruno Nazareth is cleared ( who happens to be my friend
and it was shock to me that my friend would stoop to such cheating). Benny
Nazareth is something else. Most unreliable as far as ethics is concerned
and deserves not only 6 month's suspension as the notary but his licence to
practice law itself should be reviewed. Superficially inflated lawyers like
Benny Nazareth have the capacity to represent only highly placed CROOKS
(like the one he is representing in my eviction case of 16years). I have
personally fired crackers to celebrate Benny's suspension. And if I have
anything to do with the law, I would have him suspended permanently as a
lawyer.
And that would be "Good riddance to bad rubbish".

I feel the crackdown on NOTARIES who charge exorbitant deserves KUDOS and
is most welcome.
Many Legal professionals who offer NOTARY services have been charging
customers exorbitantly for swearing affidavits/sale deeds etc in Hundreds
and THOUSANDS which is clear cheating. What else we can expect from them
when MANIPULATION runs deep down in their blood.
VERY welcome that ALL NOTARIES are made to DISPLAY their official charges
rate.
In Mumbai many social workers and eminent persons are appointed as SEM (
Special Executive Magistrate) who certify TRUE COPIES free of cost.
GOA GOVERNMENT should also appoint "SEM" who can certify COPIES as
HONORARY JOB and provide much relief to GOANS.....
