As if we need reminding . . . English is not our mother tongue.

Government business in the legislature is conducted mainly in Konkani and 
Marathi - the official languages of Goa.

There is also an interpreter service in the House for those who have difficulty 
understanding English/Konkani/Marathi/Portuguese
