Dialysis facilities It is a life saving process.it is believed that at least it can add 40 years to your life, if properly followed.Dialysis is a costly process and recently Govt,of Goa , has reduced the charges to Rs1500= from earlier Rs2000 per cycle. Some private hospitals seem to attract patients for dialysis and are now in double minds after decrease in Govt subsidy.Little is known about the world class facility at Margao Hospicio for Dialysis patients. It appears that lack of deserving publicity may be intended to favour the private enterprise.Those who have availed of the dialysis at Margao Hospicio, speak highly of the services and dedicated , personal attention of the Medical personnel stationed there. It is noted with regret and on casual inquiry, that the well equipped. ultra modern mobile van for dialysis is unable to give service to such patients at their doorsteps and who find it difficult to visit the Hospicio for the treatment.The difficulty of getting sanction of diesel appears to be a hindrance. If the Govt. is so much concerned about cost cutting measures, at least ask the patients to share the nominal costs or request NGO`s to support Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
