Dear Edward Verdes, What you have reported in Goanet about the Herald on line, was a scam or something else? It is really confusing to all of us readers of Herald. This is not the first time it has taken place , sometimes other newspapers also did the same technique and I am not sure how many have been fooled by registering these papers and very soon next day the papers could be assessed on line. For your information I have also notice the same phenomena, what you have reported except that I have not registered because I was sure this is something fishy and it will continue to be on line. I thing those Managers of papers must make a point not to confuse the readers especially those who are staying abroad. I get number of calls from my friends to contact Herald or other newspapers to find out what is happening. Hope the Editor/s take note of this sort of problems facing by the readers or else people like Mr. Edward has been cheated. Could it be some sort of scam if many people have registered it and the newspaper management have accepted the cash/cheque.
