We are all aware that Tourism will continue to play a key role in enhancing Goa's economic health and being such a sensitive industry as it is, it is imperative that all of the Stakeholders involved in the tourism pie are proactively involved in improving our tourism culture and hospitality soft skills to benchmark us against world class standards which is our aim to emulate. CII proposes to bring two world class programmes developed by the "World Hosts (WH)" and "Canada Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC)" to Goa which have created International standards and are accepted world-wide as benchmarks for enhancing the tourism image of the respective countries. The Canada interface is driven by Mr Kishor Sabnis, a tourism marketing strategist, decorated by the Governments of Singapore, Thailand, Phillipines, Mauritius, Canada and the USA. He is also the member of the Core Working Group of "Leap Foundation (LF)", the Indian counterparts led by Mr Subroto Ghosal, who are committed to work the mission of the above organizations in India. Mr Kishor Sabnis and Mr Subroto Ghosal will have an interactive Seminar with all of the stakeholders to discuss, deliberate and decide on the next immediate course of action. CII is conducting The Seminar on "Enhancing Tourism Culture Initiatives for Goa" is being done on Tuesday, 5th November 2013 from 10 am to 2 pm, at Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji Goa. Mr. Nikhil Desai, Director, Tourism, Govt. of Goa will address the occasion. I am also enclosing the brief profile of the Resource Persons.
