We shall await for the kingdom of Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ceylon in hope.

Pedro:

1.        Who spoke about ‘Indian identity’???  By the way, just for your
information, while you may be correct that the present India is only 65 odd
years old, the nation existed for centuries in the form of small kingdoms, and
it has always encompassed Goa.  The present day India as we all know it, is the
creation of the British on their departure from the Indian subcontinent.

2.       Goans have to accept India’s laws in Goa because of the following
reasons:

i. Portugal gave up it’s rights to it’s former territory of Estado do India
which included Goa, to the present Government of India.  In other
words, Portugal dumped Goa straight into the hands of India.
ii. True Goans love Konkani as their mother tongue and will always fight
tooth and nail for Konkani, not Marathi.  I for one, am proud to state
that Konkani is my beloved mother tongue.

There is no way in hell (if you believe in that place) that Goa will ever be an
independent nation like East Timor etc.  Wake up, your slumber is over, and it
is time to accept the reality of the situation.  Instead of living a life of
hope in dreams, Goans should roll up their sleeves and work for the betterment
of their state.  Personally, I would be very happy for Goa to be a Portuguese
state, but unfortunately, there is nothing that anyone can do about it’s
present status and situation.  Do you know what these words mean, and I  quote:
“umtea kowshear udok”  They sum it all so well.

3.       Do you have any more queries?

Regards

Raj

Subject: Re: GOACAN's CRY FOR HELP, FOR SINGLE CAUSE ...& NOT FOR WHOLE GOANS
SORROW.

How can one say I'm a GOAN, but love my indian identity? Goa is now 500+ years
old and India only 65 odd years.

If one says he is a GOAN then why does he accepts Indian law in GOA?

If one is a GOAN then why does he like a prick fight for marathi as a state
language?

Rajesh can you answer my queries?
