Two separate rings actually. The PM and the Toronto mayor were not battering
each other.

The mayor agrees to recent cocaine use but refuses to resign.  His teflon
coating has quickly melted.

The PM lasts only if his chief of staff whom he first praised but later threw
to the wolves keeps his peace about what actually happened and why he paid off
a disgraced senator. If he tells, all bets are off.

Both men have something in common. They could have avoided all the heartache if
admissions came forth when revelations were flying.

Bill Clinton's lesson not quite learned.

Roland.
