Ink attack at AAM admi press conference The incident do harmless has sent shock waves , stooping to lowest level of expected decency, Fortunately it was not acid or any other harmful content. There have been incidents of throwing slippers, shoes, tomatoes, rotten eggs at opponents at political rallies and meetings, as an act of protest and disenchantment, anger, frustrations That is definitely not an accepted way to make a point
These incidents have been treated very lightly and soon forgotten. There is no police action nor does the Election Commission takes a serious note of these disturbing incidents during election period The political parties use these hoodlums, anti-social elements to create nuisance and disturbance. They use them and then throw away. They get emboldened as they get protections and support The Congress defended the slipper thrower by stating that he was charged with emotions and annoyed. The BJP claims that ink thrower stood against their official candidate, but was he removed from the party? He is not proclaiming BJP, but Anna Hazare, They believe in his proclamation, but not his assertion that he is BJP activist and its supporter. Vinod Tawde a responsible BJP functionary promises to take disciplinary action, when he is not the BJP member, though he agrees that he is functioning in some IT cell of the party. All the political parties indirectly encourage and protect such trouble shooters, which is why they are emboldened to act violently. These muscle men are a part of all political parties Political campaigning of late is at its lowest ebb .The attack is on person, rather than the issues and with a strong watch dog of press and electronic media, the occurrences are naturally highlighted.
