Christians/Catholics in India don’t indulge in terrorist activities……….don’t indulge in anti-national activities………..don’t indulge in smuggling & underworld activities……..don’t indulge in cheating & corruption activities………….don’t indulge in arson looting rioting activities…….dont indulge in communal & fundamentalist activities..........dont indulge in criminal activities.......don’t indulge in encroaching government collector lands to create slums….…don’t indulge in female foeticide/infanticide……………don’t indulge in overpopulation activities and marry at a late age and are content with 1 or maximum 2 children….…and...are extremely secular....and work with honesty and dedication in whichever company they work……..….although the Indian govt gives Bharat Ratna to those Indian citizens who have excelled in certain fields or profession but nothing wrong if a single Bharat Ratna medal is given for the entire Christian/Catholic community in India who have excelled in being very peaceful & law abiding & honest citizens.
The Jain community here in bombay in the last 25 years have built many magnificient white color marble temples and installed in them idols of Mahavira that are made from 5 different metals……the strength of the Jain community is their strong unity, strong entrepreneurial skills & daily consumption of milk, curd, pure ghee……….the Jain community inspite of being the richest community in India are agitating to get national minority status in order to get central/state government benefits………but the best part is the Jain community do not face any threats from the right wing hindu groups. The Indian navy is baptizing all its ships & submarines & aircraft carriers with Sanskrit names & names from Hindu mythology…………officially India is still a secular country and along with Hindus the Christians & Muslims also pay various central govt taxes.…..so why cant the Indian navy baptize some of its ships & submarines with Biblical names & Quranic names. Here in bombay vasai thane in all the churches there are permanent & temporary graveyards………in the temporary graveyard after a period of 3 years from the date of burial the dead body that has decomposed into bones is removed by the family members and the bones are put in small concrete box that are on the compound wall of the graveyards………and the box is covered with a marble with the name and other details of the dead person…….ofcourse the labour that is needed to dig the grave remove the bones and the concrete box charges and marble and all the details on it requires a lot of money…………those family members who don’t turn up after 3 or 4 years the administrators of the church remove the bones and burn those bones in a small pit and the ash is thrown into garbage…………………it is very shameful that the clergy in bombay vasai thane have quietly sold away a lot of vacant church land in the last few decades when these same vacant land could have been used for making new permanent graveyards………….since the parish priests are transferred after every 4 or 5 years due to which they take advantage and when their time of transfer is near they dig into old church land records and sell away church land and what they do with the money received is never disclosed on church notice boards. The manner in which everywhere in the 4500 sq km bombay metropolitan region residential buildings, big housing complexes, skyscrapers, mhada buildings, sra buildings, rental housing buildings, etc are coming up it appears that all the MPs, MLAs, Corporators in these region are either into construction business or on the payrll of the builders lobby..................the entire konkan region including the 4500 sq km bombay metropolitan region is an eco sensitive zone…………in the future if there is a serious earthquake or some other natural disaster there will be massive casualities. CBCI president Oswald Gracias held a meeting with UPA Chairperson based on a report that appeared in Hindustan times dated 22-10-2013…………in the meeting he only discussed some of the national policies of the Congress led UPA like the food security bill etc………but being the Archbishop of Bombay he should have been kind enough to discuss the unemployment & housing problems faced by most catholics in bombay but he did not raise these two important issues with the UPA chairperson……………..Oswald Gracias has also not bothered to meet the BMC commissioner to oppose the inclusion of catholic gaothans (villages) in the new capital value tax system & 500 sq ft property rule………………neither has Oswald Gracias bothered to meet the CM of Maharashtra to oppose the demolition of crosses by bmc, to oppose the gorai-manori real estate tourism zone, to oppose the attempts in collectors office to declare gaothans as slums, to oppose encroachment of church land by bmc & builderslobby & slumdwellers, etc. It is only the lay catholic groups like CSF AOCC SOUL CROSS MGP AICU BCSABHA MCYF etc who are taking up the problems of the lay catholics with political leaders as well as taking out rallies…………although all these lay catholic groups have not yet agitated to demand from the catholic church/clergy in bombay to utilize vacant church land for housing needs, graveyards, gardens, halls, etc for the benefit of lay catholics…….neither they have agitated to reserve 50% seats in catholic schools/institutions for children of lay catholics…………..neither they have agitated to demand from bmc & state govt more floor space index for churches……..neither they have agitated to demand from collector to allocate land for new graveyards…………..neither they have agitated to demand from bmc to allow ground plus two houses in gaothans instead of the present restriction of ground plus one…………..neither they have agitated to demand 5% job quota for native catholic villagers of bombay in bmc, collectorsoffice, citysurveyoffices, mmrda, mhada, police, metro, monorail, western/central railway, airindia, rbi, mtnl, ongc, nationalizedbanks and other govt & public sector undertakings operating in the bombay region. In 1887 some catholics from bandra sent a letter to the governor of bombay to baptize all catholic villagers of bombay with the name eastindians in honour of the protestant britishers owned east india company…….….the British govt did not issue any document that the catholic villagers of bombay have been officially baptized with the name eastindians neither the british govt gave any undertaking that the catholic villagers of bombay will get priority in jobs……….but since the catholic villagers of bombay were ignorant & drunken people they blindly adopted the designation eastindians ( http://www.east-indians.com/ ) without bothering about that the same eastindia company was allowing hindus from Gujarat & Maharashtra to settle on the lands of the catholic villagers of bombay……….and this same eastindia company through the 1894 land acquisition act went around grabbing large tracts of lands of the native catholics of bombay……………except for the goans/mangaloreans nobody in the world knows who eastindians in bombay are…………the marathi migrants in bombay think that the eastindians are outsiders like the northindians & southindians………..after the eastindia company fled in 1947 the new rulers of india did not abolish the 1894 land acquisition act…….and again from 1960 the catholic villagers of bombay lost whatever lands were left with them due to land acquisition by Maharashtra govt . The Catholic villagers of bombay ( http://www.bombayland.blogspot.com/ ) have now been reduced to backward/poor class……because all their agricultural lands forestlands saltpanlands ponds wells lakes bullocks horses vegetable fields etc was grabbed by the british govt Indian govt maharashtra govt bmc mhada mmrda airportsauthority railways illegal-migrants slumlords landmafia buildersmafia slumdwellers rightwinghindugroups………AND………genetic problems of Alcoholism, infighting, jealousy, gossiping…….AND……..daily consumption of the unhealthy & unhygienic bakery maida pavs………..AND…………lack of interest in education, sports, etc………..AND……..no ambition to work towards becoming ias ips irs ifs officers doctors engineers shopkeepers traders entrepreneurs businessmen merchants politicians ministers etc…….AND……neither any ambition to aggressively apply for govt jobs police jobs bank jobs railway jobs etc……….AND…….not abandoning the inappropriate name eastindians in favour of new name bombaikar or mumbaikar or mobaikar or bombayvillagers…………..AND………..giving too much importance for the catholic clergy who have no interest in improving the health wealth housing jobs land-holdings & security of the catholic villagers of bombay. The bible does not say that if you don’t attend next weeks Sunday mass then you have denied the Christian faith and you are worse than an infidel in God’s eyes………the bible says that if you have not taken care of the financial needs of your family then you have denied the Christian faith and you are worse than an infidel in God’s eyes……………ofcourse Christians need to go to the church atleast once in a week……….but why waste one hour hearing the repetitive & boring sermons & rituals of the clergy……….the correct thing to do is to put garland or candle near the statue of Christ, Mother mary, etc and do a short 5 minutes prayer and move on……………also Christians need to take bath before going to the church in the morning……………….and Christians need to wear full length clothes if they are going to church in order to maintain the sanctity of the church. I like the Gujarati marwari Jain sindhi & Punjabi ideology of accumulating more & more wealth property gold and what not………but inspite of all the wealth the life expectancy of the members of all these business communities is similar to members of other communities in India.
