Gabe Menezes, This will not be a problem since the Fed already charges depositors in the US i.e. interest rates on savings accounts are half that of inflation. Current Fed policy, believe it or not, is to penalize savers or those with savings. Things are going to change though. In a few months, the Fed will have a new chief. The last two times this happened, the markets went haywire. The roller coaster ride that follows will be interesting, and especially so for those who are sitting on cash. In this regard, the charges a bank may levy against deposits will be a pittance when compared to risking your savings elsewhere. Mervyn
