As I have never succeeded in upgrading Glibc using a normal recipe, and more ppl than me has had them same problem, I thought that maybe it is not possible to do it that way. Would it instead be possible to use chroot, more specific ChrootCompile, to do it? In my experience one needs a static toolchain when the new Glibc is linked in.

Either way, maybe the Glibc recipe/package should require something that disables the use of the recipe/package for normal users, unless someone assures that it is possible to upgrade Glibc using normal GoboTools (Compile/InstallPackage). Then I also want to know what is needed to do that.
