Actually, I'm looking for things to *remove* from the boot scripts. :)

Our once-fast boot sequence has slowed down in the last few releases,
and I'm looking for the culprits. Personally, I prefer to ship a more
barebones default and let the user fill it up as they see fit. Not all
machines have soundcards, not all machines are servers. Some need
alsactl, some need cron... you try to make everybody happy and next
thing you notice... you're back to RedHat-like boot times.

Now, if you send me a patch for the installer to add this to the
installed BootUp file only if a sound card is found, I'd be very happy
and thankful. :)
