">=" looks fine too. Just a matter of asking contributers and other

I have no problems with neither, just as long as there's a decision on
one of those :)
For brackets syntax I'd prefer just brackets and no paranthesis, like
Lucas suggested (if it's possible). It's more natural. So either [1.2,
2[ or >=1.2,<3 would be the same suggested earlier: [1.2, 2).
