It isn't in sync, debian unstable had the same version, but the latest is a src.rpm. Follow a patch for Compile deal with src.rpm files, what do you think? If it ok I can update NewVersion and MakeRecipe to deal with src.rpm files. By the other side, 17M is only a Compile dependence and not a InstallPackage dependence. This is a kind of package that can be easily update by some developer with RPM package installed. Follow too a working recipe of hwdata for this patch, still need RPM to compile it. ps: NewVersion work fine here, but I think that MakeRecipe need a update
