After having taken a break on creating a recipe for linux, since I didn't
come to an easy solution last visit to the problem I thought that I would
give it a go again. When I look at the problem I see that it lies within
where check_direct_dependencies should be called. If it should stay in
Compile I will have to add another hook, for example post_link(), to be
able to have a functioning linux recipe. On the other hand, do we really
need check_direct_dependencies in Compile? Now with the new module system
for HTTPD I can't see it be used there. Is there any other app that needs
this function, or should it be removed again?
