"Basically the same" does not apply to PPClandia. I once read someone
say something like: "I came from years of experience in Linux-x86, and
could run through make menuconfig and get a kernel built with my eyes
closed... and switching to Linux-ppc made me a newbie in kernel
compiling all over again". I shared the exact same experience -- after
a number of failed attempts, I could only compile a kernel that
_booted_ using someone else's .config (probably the one from Ben
Herrenschmidt) and I'm still using a variant of that.
