"Basically the same" does not apply to PPClandia. I once read someone say something like: "I came from years of experience in Linux-x86, and could run through make menuconfig and get a kernel built with my eyes closed... and switching to Linux-ppc made me a newbie in kernel compiling all over again". I shared the exact same experience -- after a number of failed attempts, I could only compile a kernel that _booted_ using someone else's .config (probably the one from Ben Herrenschmidt) and I'm still using a variant of that. -- Hisham _______________________________________________ gobolinux-devel mailing list gobolinux-devel@lists.gobolinux.org http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-devel
