Being asked about everything important to the copying process should be nice, specially on older machines. Adding an extra screen explaining that the user can do something else should be nice too, something like "Packages are being copied blablabla ..., when you're in the mood press next in order to configure your fresh Gobolinux install". I'm curious if a race can happen here. Suppose the user is fast enough to configure something (hostname, for instance) before the appropriate package get installed. Or there would be a single commit stage at the very end of the install/config process? If so, then there's a feature I'd like to try. Consider that the installation is going on, and you have configured everything. Then something fail (CD-ROM drive, HDD, power), something not that uncommon for old hardware. Installing under these circunstances can get very long, and resuming may be help a lot. -- Ricardo Nabinger Sanchez <[EMAIL PROTECTED],wait4.org}> Powered by FreeBSD "Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse." _______________________________________________ gobolinux-devel mailing list gobolinux-devel@lists.gobolinux.org http://lists.gobolinux.org/mailman/listinfo/gobolinux-devel
