But then again modules can't be symlinks, unless we patch the module init tools. On the other hand, directories can be symlinks, so we can have a link, /System/Kernel/Modules/Current -> /Programs/Linux/Current/Modules or similar, but then there's problem with packages that provide their own modules. Something similar for the kernel image itself (that can be a link, right?). However then we have the problem with partitioning and booting, as /S/K/B and /P can be on different partitions. I'd rather see that we try to find the best way to do this instead of going with what is easiest with what we have today (unmanaged files).
