I just tried to Compile GCC-Java from my rc shell and it failed with
an error like "export: not found" (apologies for not recording the
exact error).  Rebuilding from bash seems to cure it.

Is there any way to note a Compile dependency like that?
Should the recipe be changed to force a Bourne-like shell?
