I'm trying to get Umbrello (http://uml.sf.net/) up & running on my system. First off, Umbrello is part of KDE, they say it's in the "kdesk" package, but I'm not sure what that translates to the Gobo world. I don't see it located in any packages on recipes.gobolinux.org, so I think it's necessary to create a new recipe.
I used MakeRecipe http://easynews.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/uml/umbrello-1.5.71.tar.bz2 then ran Compile and it errors out in the configure script when detecting X saying: checking for X... ./configure: eval: line 28517: syntax error near unexpected token `(' ./configure: eval: line 28517: `have_x=yes kde_x_includes=. kde_x_libraries=/usr/lib libc.so.6 => /System/Links/Libraries/libc.so.6 (0xb7e16000)' checking for IceConnectionNumber in -lICE... no checking for libXext... no configure: error: We need a working libXext to proceed. Since configure can't find it itself, we stop here assuming that make wouldn't find them either. PrepareProgram: configure failed. Compile: Preparation step failed. I think I remember seeing some other recipe with that problem concerning the libc.so.6 line; does anyone know the solution? Thanks! ____________________________________________________________________________________ Don't let your dream ride pass you by. Make it a reality with Yahoo!
