Perhaps I figured out the problem.
/System/Links/Shared contained a copy of itself into 
/System/Links/Shared/Shared. The same for 
/System/Links/Shared/Shared/Shared and so on.
/Programs/KDE-Base-Workspace/4.0.0/Shared contains a dir pointing to itself:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] /Programs/KDE-Base-Workspace/4.0.0/Shared]ls -ls
0 lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   41 2008-01-13 23:26 Shared -> 
/Programs/KDE-Base-Workspace/4.0.0/Shared
