Hi all,
in the last few weeks I worked, or better, I played on a GoboLinux
port to my PS3. Eventually I would like to create a LiveCD ISO.
I have now a gobolinux system up and running (and booting of course).
I'm just wondering whether in this list someone else is interested in
this port and whether there are any willings to accept it in the current
GoboLinux development.
To be more precise, I think the following changes should be made:
- a new architecture should be supported in the Scripts package. I
called it cell and is used by specific Recipes like i686, ppc, and others.
- lib64 and spu dirs should be handled by SymlinkProgram
- genfstab/install script adaptions (such as kboot bootloader)
- anything I am missing :)
I already did the following:
- Recipe for gcc 4.3 (prerelease) with support for cell processor
- Recipe for spu toolchain (binutils, gcc, newlib)
- Glibc (2.7) recipes in both 32 and 64 bit modes
- Recipe modifies for compiling with gcc 4.3 or for the cell target
