I'm getting close to releasing the first alpha of 014.01. I'd like to
do some more testing locally and get some clean ChrootCompile builds
of Xorg, OpenOffice, DBus and OpenSSH vs the hand massage packages I'm
using currently.

What I need from you guys:

KDE packages. Either 3.5.9 or a rebuilt KDE-Base 3.5.8
Mplayer: need updated recipe or Vera.ttf in /F/Fonts/Truetype
Sudo: anyone try the recommendations?
Scripts: Currently using snapshot. Anyone working on back porting fixes?

Why I need clean ChrootCompile builds:
Xorg: for some reason, the package was signed by Detsch and had an
incomplete FileHash. I resigned.
OpenOffice: made symlinks by hand
OpenSSH: during build, got a seg fault and ChrootCompile frozen hard
DBus: ChrootCompile still frozen from above and haven't rebooted.

If someone wants to build the above I'd appreciate it. My
ChrootCompile is acting weird and I don't fully trust it. But I need
to straighten it out eventually.

Other status updates:
Switching BuildLiveCD to accessing SVN is complete and working well.
I also fixed some flakeyness of the build system. In a nutshell
mksquashfs handles exclude lists poorly
PostInstall was a b**** but it is working well now.

Thanks. (off to bed)
