Sounds like a good alternative. We may need to patch PrepareProgram to
pass --libexecdir= and CFLAGS to change that during 'make install' to
$prefix/lib, then. Feel free to commit support for that; I can
recompile the packages which demanded the creation of libexec during
next week, then.
