Hey Gobofans!

I thought I might tell you about my latest attempt at getting the new v15 gobo beta working on my lappy. The good news is that the bootstrapping process appears to work all the way to the installer initialization, however the bad news is the installer itself is Broken. With a capital B. When it initializes, I can see the language select screen, rendered in ncurses. The windowpane used for the options itself is graphically misrendered, with a char on the frame on the right side incremented 1 character space too much. In addition, the installer does not accept any input from any input device (Mouse, Keyboard, Joystick, Gamepad) whatsoever. The upside is I can see the selection cursor blinking, so I know that the installers event loop seems to be working, so I think its just an input issue.

Also, during the boot process, the kernel throws some errors:

[ 17.043310] irq 9:nobody cared ( try booting with irqpoll)
[    17.598871] Disabling IRQ #9

udevadm settle timeout (120sec)

So I booted with the "irqpoll" option added in:

Kernel gets stuck in loop:
iwl4965    0000:0c:00.0: HARDWARE GONE?? inta ==0xffffffff

It gave me this message for about 300 secs until I did a manual hard reboot.

So it looks like the kernel is choking on my laptop wireless card.

I would also like to note that I will not be able to proceed with installation until the next release of the gobo beta with the "mdadm" package included appears. I would also appreciate it if someone would check to see if my wireless card is enabled in gobo's standard kernel config. I presume Gobo uses a "huge" kernel with everything modularized?

Any thoughts?
