I am not knowledgable, but I might have been (one of) the last people to update it. I also can (sometimes) understand error messages. My first wrong thought is that DreamHost broke the wiki, other than that it could be SQL injection or a database error. If I were to work on it I would probably ask whoever set it up to send me a copy of the database and redact almost all of it on a new install.
