I've tried this, but everything looked fine. BTW, found an easy way to reproduce the problem:
# god check In around 30% of runs it fails with: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> using event system: netlink starting event handler Message from sysl...@mongo-ranger at Sep 6 08:05:20 ... kernel:[5016594.109237] alignment check: 0000 [#9] SMP Message from sysl...@mongo-ranger at Sep 6 08:05:20 ... kernel:[5016594.109251] last sysfs file: /sys/devices/virtual/net/lo/ operstate Message from sysl...@mongo-ranger at Sep 6 08:05:20 ... kernel:[5016594.109347] Stack: Message from sysl...@mongo-ranger at Sep 6 08:05:20 ... kernel:[5016594.109380] Call Trace: Message from sysl...@mongo-ranger at Sep 6 08:05:20 ... kernel:[5016594.109476] Code: 65 8b 04 25 e0 e0 00 00 89 45 04 e8 d7 d4 eb ff 48 69 44 24 40 00 ca 9a 3b ba d0 00 00 00 be 01 00 00 00 48 89 e7 48 03 44 24 48 <48> 89 45 08 41 8b 84 24 78 01 00 00 c7 44 24 14 00 00 00 80 89 [fail] never received process exit event >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Presume this may somehow be related to netlink event handler.. Here is some (not the same but) panic, caused by potential bug in god: http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/show/3549 could this be a reason?
