Yes packets do get received out of order. They are to a nanosecond accuracy from the source and so with transmission times etc they do come ever so slightly out of order. As I am also comparing the "same" packet received at different locations anything over a 5 second difference is no good. Weirdly the same "id" can actually occur every 2 seconds which is why I keep the worker around. Some will stay around for 20-30 seconds actually without exiting.
