[go-nuts] Is the type of a variable with interface{} "nil"?

I checked the type of the variable "v" with interface{} using TypeOf 
function in reflect package but it returned "nil".

var v interface{}
fmt.Println(reflect.TypeOf(v))


<nil>

Process finished with exit code 0
