Thanks Vasiliy. Unfortunately I don't have any expertise in raw block device stuff. Although the philosophy of the design looks like a filesystem itself, I'm not convinced we could really operate without a filesystem underneath. It might, but that would require a lot of thought and research and this seem far too big in scope for me; and I don't have any use case for it myself.
